Here are some of the more interesting products we’ve been involved in:
Implemented Windows GUI front end, HTTP server access, and some of the low
level code for a communications processor in
use with emergency services and manufacturing companies in the UK and overseas.
This product is used in a variety of
roles including emergency services mobilisation, engineering test and setup, and
factory monitoring.

Primary development tools: Borland C++ Builder, Microsoft Visual C++.
This is a further development of FPW which has been ported to Linux.

Designed and developed a suite of PC based support and management applications for a museum/
gallery audio guide. The PC applications communicate with the gallery guide racks via TCP/IP or
RS232. Gallery visitor data is acquired from the gallery guide racks and written to an SQL database
via ADO.

Designed and developed PC based control system for SCSI encryption unit. The
control system interfaces to the SCSI
encryption unit via RS232. The encryption unit is a separate unit which is
placed inline between the host computer and
the SCSI tape drives, for DES3 encryption of tapes.

Developed PC based training and control system for PABX. This product allows a
training centre to simulate a complete
working environment for training purposes.

Designed and developed management and payroll system in use with Fire Services
in the UK. The application collects data
from the mobilisation system in the Fire Station, and transmits the data to a
central location via DUN. This replaces a
time consuming and error-prone paper based system.

Primary development tools: Visual Basic, MS Access
Designed, developed and supported a seismic data QC and logging system in use by
oil exploration crews in remote
locations. Developed a custom SCSI driver for the Adaptec AIC-78XX chipset. The
product allows the operator to monitor
quality of the seismic data being recorded in real time, rather than at the end
of the day when it is much more
expensive to correct problems.
